Welcome to Sarah Academy! We're an online learning platform helping individuals develop career skills and secure employment, including roles that offer UK visa sponsorship. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, courses, and services.
By signing up, purchasing a subscription, or using our platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
0. Definitions
- "Services" refers to all courses, coaching, communications, and resources provided by Sarah Academy through its website or affiliated platforms.
- "User" or "you" refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Services.
- "Platform" means the Sarah Academy website and any affiliated tools such as Slack, Notion, or any third-party service used to deliver content.
- "Subscription" refers to a paid plan granting access to our services.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to register and use our services.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- Sarah Academy offers three subscription plans: Scholarship, Classic, and Accelerator.
- All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT.
- By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan).
- If you have chosen a Monthly Subscription, your subscription will automatically renew every month until you cancel.
- Subscription renewals are billed on your Cohort Start Date each month, unless otherwise stated.
- We use third-party payment processors (Stripe) to handle transactions securely.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1 Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us on Slack or emailing sarah@capua.co.
- Cancellations must be communicated clearly and directly to Sarah Academy. We cannot accept or process cancellations that were not received, not submitted through an approved channel, or were not communicated before the renewal date.
- Unsupported or unreported cancellations (e.g., assuming the subscription would not renew, failure to notify us, or failure to update payment details) do not qualify for refunds.
4.2 Refund Policy
- If you cancel within 48 hours of your initial deposit payment, you may request a full refund, provided you have not accessed substantial course content or services.
- Once your enrolment begins and you have been granted access to course content, coaching, or the community, no refunds will be issued.
- We are unable to offer refunds for course fees as we allocate limited programme capacity and reserve your seat upon enrolment.
- After the initial 48-hour window, refunds are not provided except: at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances; or where required by law.
- No partial or pro-rata refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.
- Access to the platform continues until the end of the billing period in which the cancellation was submitted.
4.3 Service Satisfaction & Adjustments (Non-Refund Alternatives)
While refunds are not offered after enrolment, we are committed to supporting your experience in the programme. If you are not satisfied with any part of the service, we may offer the following adjustments at no additional cost:
- Career Advisor Change: You may request to switch to a different Career Advisor at any time.
- Career Track Change: You may request to change your selected Career Track if your goals or interests shift.
- Additional Support: We may provide extra guidance, resources, or technical assistance where needed to help improve your learning experience.
These adjustments are made at our discretion and are designed to support your progress without altering our refund policy.
5. Course Access, Use, and Conduct
- Upon subscribing, you receive a non-transferable, limited license to access course materials for personal, non-commercial use only.
- You agree not to share, reproduce, sell, or otherwise distribute course content without written permission.
- You agree not to: use the platform for unlawful purposes; harass, abuse, or harm other users; attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts; or upload or distribute malware or spam.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms or misuse of the platform.
6. Intellectual Property
- All content, branding, videos, and course materials are the intellectual property of Sarah Academy or its content partners.
- You may not use any part of our content for purposes not expressly permitted in these Terms.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- We are committed to protecting your data. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, store, and use your personal information.
- By using our platform, you consent to our data practices in accordance with UK GDPR.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Sarah Academy provides educational content for learning and career preparation. We do not guarantee job placement or visa approval.
- Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in our performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, labor disputes, power failures, internet outages, or governmental actions.
10. Third-Party Services and Tools
Our platform may include links to or integrations with third-party tools (e.g., Slack, Notion). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.
11. Communications
- We may send service-related announcements, legal notices, and updates via email or through the Slack workspace.
- These communications form part of your service agreement with us.
12. Modifications to These Terms
- We may update these Terms occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
- Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Termination by Sarah Academy
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the platform if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that harms other users or our business.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Sarah Academy regarding the use of our Services and supersede any prior agreements or communications.
